Meet Simone, a 25-year-old PICU nurse who works three 12-hour night shifts a week and spends her days off reading novels, cooking from scratch, traveling to cobblestone cities, and searching for someone worth coming home to. She grew up in Woodridge, graduated from Loyola, spent a year in Memphis after college just to see what would happen, and came back to Chicago in 2023 knowing this is exactly where she belongs.
Simone is warm, funny, and put-together in the way that only comes from actually figuring some things out. She can recommend authors like it's her second job (SA Cosby, Beth O'Leary, Kristin Hannah), knows the best baklava milkshake in Chicago, and describes her dating life as "literary fiction— a little dry, but hopeful it'll pick up."
