During the pandemic, Sky's "pie of the week" operation wasn't really about the pies—it was about making sure her people felt cared for when the world was falling apart. These days, she hosts brunches in her studio apartment that somehow feel more spacious than most NYC restaurants, because that's what happens when someone genuinely wants you there.
The most telling detail about Sky's character? She's a committed vegetarian who will cheerfully handle raw meat for her carnivorous friends. Not because she's a pushover, but because making people happy is basically her superpower. Good luck finding that level of ride-or-die loyalty on a dating app.
Speaking of dating, Sky has done the emotional archaeology on her past relationships and coined the term "LEGO boyfriend"—she has taken various traits (or pieces) she has admired in previous dates and relationships, and used them in her construction of the LEGO boyfriend. Now she just needs to find the guy who comes fully assembled.
