Meet Marc, a retired U.S. Army officer and diplomat who's been to Kandahar, Montevideo, Bogotá, and Liberia. He's scuba dived the Red Sea, explored the Egyptian pyramids, and driven through the wine country of Stellenbosch, South Africa. He speaks Spanish, plays pickleball, serves as president of a church board, and is currently building a school in West Africa. Casual overachiever energy right here.
After a career that took him to more countries than most people visit in a lifetime, Marc has circled back to where it all started: Chicago's South Side, specifically South Shore, where he grew up as one of five kids in a close family. His parents are still alive and still together—a model of real love that shaped everything he knows about what matters. Now living in Ukrainian Village and walking to work, Marc feels settled for the first time in a long time. And he's ready to share this next chapter with someone special.
